This development necessitates the constant adaptation of structures in politics and the economy, in health and social services, as well as in education. This requires experts who are familiar with the ageing process and the needs of older people. Our Bachelor’s in Gerontology will prepare you for the challenges of demographic change and working with older people.

Gerontology is an interdisciplinary science with many sub-fields. Our online study programme in Gerontology examines demographic change from different perspectives and provides you with optimal training for a professional remit that spans operational, planning-coordinating, advisory and teaching activities.
