Your online master’s programmes in Data Science
The Data Science master’s is available as a 60 ECTS or 120 ECTS programme.
Your admission requirements for the 60 ECTS programme:
- Completed undergraduate degree
- 240 or 210 ECTS from the first degree: Direct access with proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme
- With 180 ECTS from the first degree: Attendance of courses amounting to 30 ECTS AND proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience OR proof of at least two years of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme
- Previous knowledge of the basics of industrial software technology and statistics (you can complete these courses with us free of charge before starting your studies)
- To be admitted, you must complete the courses “Advanced Mathematics” / “Weiterführende Mathematik” and “Programming with Python” / “Programmieren mit Python” or deliver proof of equivalent previous knowledge. You can also complete these courses with us free of charge before starting your studies.
- Proof of your knowledge of German or English

- Completed undergraduate degree with a focus on economics
- Proof of at least one year of qualified professional experience when starting the study programme (must be acquired after completing the undergraduate degree)
- Previous knowledge of the basics of industrial software technology and statistics (you can complete these courses with us free of charge before starting your studies)
- Proof of your knowledge of German or English

Your master’s programme in Data Management is as practice-oriented as possible! In the 60 ECTS programme, you choose one of the 3 electives of “Big Data und Software Engineering”, “Produktionsmethoden Industrie 4.0 und Automatisierungstechnik” or “Angewandtes Autonomes Fahren”. In the 120 ECTS programme, you choose two out of 13 electives to prepare for your career. Your options include modules such as “Data Science Specialist”, “Cognitive Computing” and “Business Analyst”.
